climate change note taking

for reading we did a note taking task in climate change. Climate change is bad because  we are killing the earth and it is hurting the animals.

 

explanation

Ants are social insects that live in large colonies or groups. There are three kinds of ants in a colony: the queen, the female workers, and males.

There are more than 12,000 kinds of ants all over the world. They can live for many years and have millions of babies. Ants don’t have any lungs. Oxygen enters through tiny holes in the body and carbon dioxide leaves through the same holes. 

An ant can lift 20 times its own body weight and they don’t have ears. Ants hear by feeling vibrations in the ground through their feet. The queen and the males have wings while the workers don’t have any wings. 

During the day the ants travel to find food they attack other colonies and insects they encounter. At night, they build a temporary nest and keep moving the next morning. All The worker ants make a nest out of their own bodies to protect the queen,the food, and the eggs. 

In conclusion, ants are small insects that crawl around finding food. Ants walk with 3 legs at a time and build nests for the queen using their own bodies. Ants live in colonies and they all have jobs.

Something i'm proud of . . . . . .

The thing I am most  proud of is I kicked someone today and it was my sister. She is pretty annoying in the morning because she is normally grumpy cause she does not like to come to school and that's why I kicked her and she felt better for some reason. I also yelled at my big sister she always hogs the bathroom and then she thought I was rushing her but I just needed to go to the loo and  then she got mad at me and she told on me also she is annoying too. I also stole my brother's breakfast because I couldn't be bothered to make my own and I said goodbye to my dad when I left for school and I brushed my teeth on the way to school an that is what I'm most proud of. .
